Walter Feldman, professor of visual arts at Brown University for over 40 years, showed slides and spoke on his bibliographic art. Professor Feldman's work encompasses a variety of disciplines, from traditional painting to avant-garde book making. He is a printmaker, a painter, and a mosaicist. His media include graphite, ink, acrylics, oils, as well as eighteenth-century rag paper and space-age, thermoplastic adhesives. World War II has played a prominent role in Professor Feldman's art and his life. He served for three years in the infantry, fought in four major battles in close combat including the Battle of the Bulge.
