“Justice Through the Ages”

Justice Joseph R. Weisberger
Chief Justice of the Rhode Island Supreme Court

Justice Weisberger will discuss the evolution of the legal system over time, including the impact of the electronic age on our current judicial process.  All are welcome.  Justice Weisberger graduated from Brown University in 1942 with an A.B. and from Harvard University in 1949 with a J.D.  He was appointed to the bench in 1956 as Associate Justice of the Superior Court.  In 1995 he was appointed Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.  He has been teaching for 40 years, during which time he has lectured to audiences in all 50 states.
